Can I do the Move Better Program at home?
 YES! The whole program was filmed in a living room because, the whole program is designed to be completed in the comfort and safety of your own home. Weeks 1 - 4 are completely body weight. I highly recommend having a yoga mat but you don’t require any equ ipment. Weeks 5 - 8 start to include some basic equipment like a light - medium hand weight or kettlebell but, it is not required to complete the sessions. All of this information is included in the eBook with purchase.
Do I need to have a Facebook account to participate?
No, you do not need a Facebook profile to participate in the program. The entire program is offered on a platform that you will access with your own login information. The Move Better private Facebook group is a bonus feature of the program that offers weekly live calls covering different health topics, extra resources, food prep demos, additional guided movement sessions, and more.
I have an injury, can I still do the program?
This program is designed as a low-impact, body weight, fitness program for all levels. I constantly remind you that it is important for you to move within a range of motion that is available to you, and to avoid pain with movements. If you do experience pain, please stop that particular movement, modify to suit your needs, or take a break and move on to the next movement. Depending on where your injury is I your body, you can avoid movements that may aggravate or cause discomfort. I would highly recommend seeing a licensed health professional to treat your injury if you have not already done so. I am a fitness professional, and while I can confidently offer modifications to avoid pain during movements, it is beyond my scope to diagnose or treat injuries.
I have arthritis pain, can I do this program?
This is a tough one because, depending on where you experience pain I would highly recommend seeing a licensed health professional to treat your pain. I am a fitness professional, and while I can confidently offer modifications to avoid pain during movements, it is beyond my scope to diagnose or treat pain. I am a huge believer that, ‘MOTION IS THE LOTION’ so, oftentimes clients that do have aches and pains experience less pain when they move more because exercise can boost synovial fluid, the natural lubricant in our joints was well as send nutrient rich blood to tissues surrounding your joints. Additionally, this program can help reduce pain by teaching you and having you practice movement patterns that put less stress on the joints. Lastly, stress on joints can be greatly reduced by strengthening connective tissue like muscles, ligaments, and tendons around a joints, which we absolutely will do in this program!
How many sessions per week are there & how long are they? 
There are 3 sessions total to be completed each week. 2 of the 3 sessions are required to progress in the program, and one is a supplementary movement session and is optional. The 2 sessions that are required to be completed each week are between 20-30 minutes in length, and the supplementary optional session is only 10 minutes in length. By the end of the 8 weeks, you will have completed 16 required sessions, 8 supplementary optional sessions, and even more if you chose to participate in weekly sessions on the Move Better community Facebook group. 
Can my husband/wife/partner do it with me?
Absolutely! Each membership is considered a household membership if you would like to have your significant other or family member join in. However, please note that the waiver of liability is signed by the person purchasing the program and if you chose to purchase the coaching calls they are intended for the person who purchases the program.
What equipment do I need?
I highly recommend having a yoga mat but you do not require any equipment to fully participate in the program. Weeks 5 - 8 start to include some basic equipment like a light-medium hand weight or kettlebell but, it’s is not required to complete the sessions. If you do wish to have some equipment for the second half of the program, you have time to purchase some. I am happy to offer suggestions on what to purchase to suit your needs and complete your at-home fitness space. All of this information is included in the eBook with purchase.
What if I need to take a break mid-way through the program?
That is okay! Once you purchase this program, it is yours for life. While I highly recommend sticking to the schedule and completing 2 - 3 sessions per week, if you need to take a break and come back to the program, you can. After a lengthy break of more than 2 weeks, you may want to restart the program from the beginning to ensure your body is ready for the subsequent sessions. It’s consistency in your mobility practice and incorporating stability work into your routine that is going to bulletproof your body! You can’t have one without the other.
  
I truly attribute avoiding injuries in my athletic career to morning joint circles, foot work, and lower body stability that I’ve spent a great deal of time on over the last few years. It’s a process, it’s never ending, and I’m always adding more or switching things up thanks to my own research and learning from others. If you don’t yet have a routine that’s going to keep you on your feet in a situation like this, my Move Better Program will help you establish a movement routine that works for you, learn the basics, and build a strong foundation to continue to strengthen.
Do the videos disappear at the end?
Nope! This is the beauty of virtual fitness. When designing this program it was important for me to ensure that the program and all of the videos would remain available to you so that you can repeat the program as many times as you wish so that you ca notice improvements in your mobility, strength, endurance, stability and continue to move better for life! Moving well, staying strong, and avoiding pain with movement is not just about participating in an 8-week program, but consistently practicing quality movement patterns daily. 
I already workout a few times a week, will it benefit me?
I launched a BETA program three months ago and had a group of very strong ladies aged 50+ participate. These ladies attended a performance facility and worked out 3-4 times a week. Man you them noted that after participating in this 8 week program their workouts and movements in their workouts improved immensely. Thanks to new-found mobility and core strength they were able to lift heavier, squat deeper, and reach higher without pain.

How will I know if I’m improving?
I am excited to tell you that the Move Better program includes the Wiese Moves Mobility Screen. The Wiese Moves Mobility screen was created from Leanne’s experience as a competitive athlete for 12 years, over 7 years of experience working with clients, teaching hundreds of thousands of fitness classes, and attending multiple certifications, courses, and workshops. This pre & post- program movement self-screen is included so that you can note and record the improvements you have made in your body throughout the 8 weeks. The self-screen is included in the Move Better Guide (ebook) and Leanne will be taking you through the screen in detail through weekly Facebook lives. I created this program for those who are new to fitness and need to learn the basics of quality movement patterns, are returning to fitness after taking some time off and need a reset in their routine, are recovered from an injury and are cleared exercise but need to re-building strength and those who are athletes and need that extra edge in performance that you can get from focusing on accessory work. This is a step-by-step program that progresses from week 1 to week 8. You cannot skip ahead!
